I started Lonely Fire Publishing to have a voice. I wanted a voice to speak for nature from the moments of my own mental wanderings in the depths and surrounds of the National Parks of America. In 2015, about 300 million people visited the nation's National Parks, yet so many experience the parklands with a less than wondering spirit. I have spoken with and listened to many thousands of people while in National Parks trying to find reasons and postulations about why the scene exists or how to fully find enlightenment through the moment. I looked at the opportunity to mend this gap and bring the voice of nature to every visitors conversation by communicating the basics of each Park's natural and human induced truth while at the same time creating an guide for interactive dialogue.
